the cow car is no more

although it was great that everyone kept calling my explorer "the cow car" its was time to get some paint on it. back from the paint shop today

and now that it looks good again........ the explorer is now for sale

fun to drive and twice the gas mileage of the explorer (14 vs. 28mpg)

well since i haven't done any work to my off-road navajo in a while, i figured i'd post about what i've been doing with other auto related business. this thread is way off topic now but oh well.

daily driver is totaled. slid off the road and found a nice rock to stop me

so i bought an 83 celica. was replacing the head gasket but i got lazy and quit.

so instead of fixing the celica, i bought an 85 MR2 for $375. my new daily driver, 2seater, mid engine, 5spd. fun to drive

its not the celica-SUPRA, it's just the four banger 115hp engine.

maybe they're faster than i think. maybe i just drove a slow, bad condition one
