Could someone please give me some help on figuring out why my low beam headlights won't come on. I had my 2002 Explorer get soaked inside the vehicle and I had to take the carpet out to dry it. For some reason my low beams don't work and I've tried changing the fuse and that doesn't help. The lights work on high beam both on the Auto setting or just manually turning them on. I can't believe that Both low beams would burn out at the same time without taking out at least one high beam. My one friend was wondering if it was the daytime running light module. But my dealer that I called said he didn't think that Ford used that module much. Could someone PLEASE help me. I'm new to Ford.
Thanks a lot,
ray

You may have a faulty headlight switch. If it got wet, might have shorted.

Just tonight I noticed that both of my low beams are out, the hughs work fine.

Any idead?

Thanks......

Traced the problem to the left low beam fuse, I don't understand why the right low beam was out too, since it has its on fuse?
