PLEASE HELP!!!

I have a 2004 Nissan Murano , that I bought a few months back , which I was ripped completely off for unfortunately! I've been fixing it way more than I have been driving it since purchased and now I'm getting the ceode p0174 , the car dies most of the time when put in reverse and also drive. When that happens usually I can drive it manually . I just can't seem to figure out what part to really try and replace , I seriously can't afford to be buying parts and them not be the solution. Anyone, I beg anyone, out there been through anything similar to my situation ??? If so please forward any tips or advice you may have thank you so much in advance!!

Maybe stop working on it, get an Attorney and check your lemon laws.
