Can someone tell me the correct torque for spark plugs on my '99 5.0? I am figuring about 12 or so.

Thanks!

I don't remember off of the top of my head, I know its in the first chapter of the Haynes manual.

You dont have to get it perfect. just guess. Dont do it to the point your straining yourself to tighten them. get them nice and snug tho. dont forget to put antiseize on there or youll NEVEr get them off!

Nobody got any numbers for me? I can't believe it! You guys are gonna make me have to buy a manual :D

I have never used a torque wrench on any spark plugs.

Good luck with yours ....

Found it!! 7-14 lbs. I'll go with 11 or so I think. I never used torque specs for plugs either, but since the info is obtainable, I feel better knowing the numbers!

Grazie!
