i've got an ongoing problem w/ '95 3.0 ranger. no. 5 cylinder is firing but not burning fuel, i have checked and cleaned the injectors, plugs are new and gapped. before i cleaned the injectors fuel oder was at the taik pipe and lots of white smoke, now i have white smoke but no fuel smell. so i have pulled no. 5 plug pushed air into the cylinder , air comes out the tail pipe, so i plugged (tennis ball) the pipe and it pressured up and blew out the plug. i heard no noise from the radiator or in the crank case, maybe a valve stuck ?
