Hi, before I start, I've spent quite some time searching this forum and the internet for a solution but haven't had any luck so I thought I'd make my first post.
Could anyone enlighten me on how the antenna cable connects to the actual antenna?
Background: I recently purchased an '04 Explorer. It still has the factory radio and basic sound system. The radio reception weak to nonexistent. I pulled the radio out and verified the antenna cable is plugged into the back of the radio. Next I opened up the glove box to find the other end of the antenna cable unplugged. I've also pulled off the passenger side kick panel to see if I could figure out where the wire should connect, but have not had any luck.
I'm stuck and have no idea where to go from here. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
