Posessed Auto Locks

one night i was at the street races and i got out of my mounty and hit the lock button like always then i closed the door and a moment later all the doors unlocked, so im like wtf and go back and lock them again closed the door and they unlock. i did that 2 more times before i got them to stay down. then i go to get gas so i pull up turn off the car pump gas turn the car back on and they start going click click click click click click as if i had kept pushing the unlock button it was freaky and i couldnt get it to stop until i turned off the car then turned it back on and havent had a problem since? no what in the hell could have caused that?

my system dosent have a remote or anything.

My guess is that you had something in your cargo compartment and it was "lightly" resting on your cargo area lock button.

I had this exact thing happen to my 96 xls. It was a stuck drivers switch. Nothing was on the button but it somehow got stuck in the down position. After a couple of presses on the unlock side all worked fine again.
