I noticed yesterday that the pulley was spinning freely, however i heard a varying squeel so i popped the hood. Sure enough it happened when the clutch engaged on the compressor. Also the front of the pulley spins for a few seconds, then stops for a few then over and over. I assume when the front is spinning that is when its engaged. Anyways it is around 50 where im at. Would it still act like this if the charge was low. The car only has a few hundred miles left on the extended warranty so a potentially pricey repair like this needs done asap. Any ideas?

The pulley itself that the belt is riding on is spinning, what stops and starts is in-front of the pulley with the 3 bolts on it.

Could be a bad clutch, but I will let someone else with more experience on this comment.
