Possible to change rear wheel studs on 03?

I have an 03 explorer limited that has a couple broken wheel studs on one of the rear wheels. I had a shop tell me that you can't replace them without replacing the entire hub assembly.

I haven't taken this off to check myself, but is it possible to replace a bad rear stud without having to press out and back on the hub assembly?

they make a tool for it, wheel stud extractor. . .only thing of note is you have to knock out the Quarter sized thing that looks like Knockout, (similar to electrical boxes) to remove the stud, otherwise the thing will hit the splash shield.

Ford dealership only charge 99 dollars for new studs and labor. (labor is 20 to 30 bucks)

I had to swap my studs twice! and both times were 98 and 99 bucks.
