Its a 2005 4.0 2wd with a 5r55s tranny. Initial issue was the tranny with a hard shift into reverse and jumping in/out of gear. I drained the fluid which came out dark brown. I bought a new soleniod pack and followed the install instructions which i found on here. Got everything back together and it started right up. Let it run for a min and then shifted to reverse. To my surprise it shifted through all gears smoothly while i had my foot on the brake. So I figured that it cured the problem. Well now when you shift into drive and hit the gas it starts to die out around 1000-1300 rpm. If you give it enough gas it will keep going and if you let off it will die. When i tried to replicate with reverse it wouldnt do it, only forward gears. And when in drive and neutral, there is no hesitation. Only in drive around that rpm it does it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
