Possible Transmission Problem

Just a note

His assumption about the full-sized spare does make sense, at least in my case, I know that it's at least not a donut, but the spare on my truck is a 235/70/R15, whereas all my tires are 235/75/R15. I don't know why the spare had to be a different size like that, but I noticed my truck running really odd when I had mine on there. That steel wheel isn't as wide as the stock rims as I saw on RockAuto for wheels for the Explorer. And I would imagine the weight difference in the wheels would throw it off a bit too.

But it seems as though the issue is almost resolved, but just thought I'd throw out that tidbit of info.

I appreciate the input. I flushed and filled the trans case and it seems to have mostly fixed the problem. I also plan on changing my rear diff fluid.

The only hiccup in the process is when the tire shop patched my tire they missed one of the two holes so I had to take it back.

Should be able to get all my correct tires back on today and maybe change the diff fluid. I will let everyone know how it goes.

I always appreciate any input given to me, this site has been a great asset to myself as well as many others.

Thanks again.

Kyle
