Well my caliper broke and tore about my rotor so i figured since i have to take apart the whole front end i might as well convert the hubs. Installed my 4x4 works for the first time ever since i had the truck. I have a 94 Explorer XLT. I installed the Warn Hubs with the conversion kit pretty easy as long as you had a torque wrench and hub socket.
Few questions:
Only when braking in engaged 4x4 mode i get a loud clunk or pop from the passenger side wheel. I read other threads about this while turning or driving but i only hear this during braking! This noise doesnt happen when in 2wd at all. It feels as if something is moving under there did i put the inner hub socket on too tight?
There was some grease in the packages hub from warn was i supposed to put more grease in?
I refuse to get stuck in the snow again
