Hey, does anyone have a good description of how to remove this? I have my door open, but am having trouble seeing in there (I CAN see the actuator, however). It's also not in my shop manual. P.S. Does anyone know a good aftermarket source for these things? Do you think mine is repairable? Thanks.

Get the Ford actuator, dont go aftermarket, the fit may not be right, its not worth the hassle for saving a few bucks. To get the old one out, you have to drill out the rivets. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I'm just not sure I want to spend $80 just so the passenger can unlock all the doors with a switch when everything else works fine.

I hear ya, and I agree, the Ford part is a bit pricey. Good Luck with whatever you decide.

Find out what the dealer charges you and then email torrie@fordpartsnetwork.com and see what he can get it to you for. I have bought a mirror for him ($30) cheaper than dealer. And he is shipping me a Seat Recline Assembly right now for 10 - 20 less than the dealer.
If you are in Florida you will have to pay sales tax. Shipping for most items he sells is $7.00
All items are brand new Ford OEM parts.
