I need your help again guys. !!!

On my X the drivers side door only has this "temperment problem.

Mostly the door will lock/unlock (keyless entry) but sometimes it just won't work. Now if i unlock/lock my X with the remote (keyless) i hear the motor for the door lock work but sometimes nothing happens.

This is not always the case so i know the locking mechanism is still connected if it does work at times and outside temo. is not a factor.

What can it be ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as when i remote lock my truck my drivers door sometimes stays unlocked !!

Thanks again.

I don't know if Ford uses a door lock timer, but my Nissan had the same problem. You can hear the door lock timer going click twice, but the door locks don't actuate. Every now and then, the connection in the timer gets better and i can use the remote. Otherwise....power locks aren't an option anymore.

I need help too!

My '98 does the exact same thing. I saw a post above this one about grounding problems.

Which ground and where? Anyone know how to fix?

Thanks,
Jon
