Hi All!
Need some help figuring this out. I have a 90 Ranger, 2.9L automatic. This truck sat for almost six years but I,ve managed to get her running for the last 8 months but have not been able to resolve two problems. can anyone help?
1. Power loss when going up hill, here's what I've replaced so far with no change in power.
Fuel Pump hanger/sender assembly
Fuel filter
re-built tranny (A4LD)
Distributer, plugs and wires
Catalytic Converter
2. Lifter tapping, usually at highway driving 65mph but getting worse now driving around town.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
