Hi guys,
I'm new here and could really use some help. My 89 Ranger recently started knocking after I had driven long enough for it to warm up. Once the knocking starts it seems to get progressively louder and then I notice a dramatic decrease in power. Especially in higher RPMs or under a load such as driving up a hill. Once the trcuk is parked for a while it seems fine again at first; starts without problem, idles fine, drives fine until it starts to warm up. It doesn't seem to be getting hot. Any ideas?
