Power mirror control

Hey! Shouldn't my control for my side mirrors be lit? I just noticed that it was out last night. I don't guess that I've evr paid any attention to it before.

Mine have never been lit, and even in my 2000 F-150 it isn't lit up. I'm not sure about other model explorers though. It looks like it should be lit up, but it never has and never will
