I have a 99 explorer xlt 4.0 L engine.

I bought it used at 75,000 miles. from the day i bought it, the power mirrors keep blowing the fuse. I'd change the fuse, adjust the mirrors, and then in a few days, when I'd check to see if they still worked, the fuse was blown again, without me using them.

any ideas what's going on here?

Might have some wires touching? its shorting out somewhere

perhaps there is more than the mirrors on the fuse??? :-) antenna? other things that shouldn't be there (custom sound stuff)?

I'm having a similar problem with my windshield washer fluid motor blowing the fuse continuously. At first I thought it was simply because ice was built up somewhere and the stress (for lack of a better word) of trying to push the fluid through the ice caused the fuse to blow. However, it's blown 3 times in a couple weeks. Not that big of a deal, kind of annoying, I just wanna make sure there's not some other underlying problem. Also, just FYI I don't have any aftermarket electronics installed that could cause it.
