Power Seat Problems

I have the power seats in my '96 XLT. A while ago the passenger seat stopped moving forward. It's stuck pretty far back and won't move either way. Has anybody had this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?

does the motor still make noise when yu move the switch or is the motor dead? Sometimes the tracks could use some grease so the seats can slide easier.
