Hi, I am new to the forum. I have a 2000 Explorer, Eddie Bauer, all wheel drive with the 5.0 eng.
I just finished changing the front bearing hubs. When I put the truck back on the ground and started it up the power steering was very jerky. How do I change the power steering fluid and how much fluid is required. Will changing the fluid likely cure the problem. The fluid appears dirty.
Thanks

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread to the stock 95-01 secton. You could disconnect the return line to drain the fluid or use a vacuum style tank to draw the fluid into it without disconnecting anything.
