power steering pump?

has anyone found a way to quit the pump. it whines and drives me . ive tried lucas and synthetic fluid. it even does it with the wheels straight.

You can trying bleeding it. Get the load off the front wheels, start it up, and turn the wheel all the way to the right/left/right ..etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you have to apply vacume to the resivour to properly bleed the air from a ford power steering system.
