Hello
I recently replaced my 96 Explorer steering rack. When I got the old rack out and it had no check valve in it so I installed the new one without it. It seems to work ok except for a slight viberation in the wheel when turning at a stop. Another problem was the yoke adjustment was hitting the cross member so I removed it and shortened the threads so it would go in further. MY QUESTION IS SHOULD I TRY TO FIND A CHECK VALVE AND INSTALL IT, AND HOW CRITICAL IS THE YOKE ADJUSTMENT.
