How do you remove the steering rack & pinion?

You have to disconnect the tie rod ends, hydraulic lines, connection from the steering column, and the mounting nuts.

yes. Do I have to drop the lower control arms to get it out.

You should have enough room to pull it out without doing that unless you have 4WD. It could get pretty cramped.

I got it out I had to drop the sway bar and the rack end and tie rod ends and it fell out.
