for some reason none of my windows will roll down. I have checked fuses with no luck. Any ideas where I can find the relay or circuit breaker for it? Has this happened to anyone else?

Yep, happened to my back right side about 12 months ago; I took the dorr trim off, and unplugged as many connectors as I could (2, IIRC), put it all back together and it magically worked. Same thing happened a month ago to the rear left hand side, but I never got to fix it; it fixed itself inside a week. Luckily both times, the windows were stuck up (on a previous car, I have had the window stick down, in the rain!!).

Try taking the door trim off and fiddle with the connectors - I used a circuit tester to confirm it was getting power to the circuit when using the switch, so I thought that the motor had blown, but then it worked once i put it all back together.

I've had this same problem intermittently on my driver side rear door and my passenger side front door, though also have luckily never had them stuck in the down position. Will try JCUZ's fix and let you know if it works for me.

On my 99 ranger the relay for the windows is under the glove box. Don't know if it is the same on the explorer. Look there first.

check the wires inbetween the door and the truck. Alot of electrical gremlins can be traced back to their. Check those before you do anything else.
