Ok, I've done a search and found lots of info that I don't know if it really pertains to 2nd gen Xs.

My RR window won't move, and naturally it's fully down, the motor attempts to turn because it'll dim the lights pretty well like it's stalled. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

My (useless) Haynes doesn't really cover this very well, or even remotely useful.

It's most likely either a window motor or a window regulator.

Ok, after disassembling the door, I "persueded" the motor to work with some taps with the hammer. Greased the slides and anythine else that moves in there and the window works MUCH better.

Texan01,
Just thought I'd add a little info to your power window problem.
I had my 93 mustang convertible and the left rear window would always hang up. The motor was pulling on the battery just like you mention, but the window would not move. I also used a hammer and a few taps would get the window working again! It would seem to work for about 2 weeks, then freeze up again. After 2 years of this I ordered a used motor from a salvage yard, installed the used motor, and it worked perfect for over 2 years until I sold the car to get my X. Just don't be too dissappointed if the motor starts the same thing later on. I got tired of removing panels to get to the motor. A used motor was about $80 for the stang, but well worth it. (new motors were discontinued for my year and unavailable)
Good luck,
Ken

I'm reasonably confidant that the motor is on it's way out, I'm just trying to stave off the enevitable till I get a job.

O'rileys has a motor for 40 bucks, I just didn't want to mess with it while it's supposed to rain this weekend.

Thanks for the info.
