hi guys as a couple of you may know I was in the procedure of purchasing a 91 XLT but the deal went bad and I bailed. Anyways Im going to be looking at a
96 LTD V8 AWD explorer tomorrow. I was told that the power windows along with the door locks (not sure about the door locks) DO NOT work. They checked today if it was the fuse and its not. Now Im debaiting if I should ask them to fix it along with doing the safety certificate of the car and pay for it or is this a simple common problem with explorers that I can fix myself?

Any suggestions or tips are welcome

You need to narrow the problem down a bit more. Do the windows just not work from the master switch, or do they also not work at each door? Also, if the master switch has a switch that gives the master switch full control(so that the individual window switches don't work) over all the windows, that could be part of the problem.
