None of the power window switches at any door work. The power seats and power locks still work. The manual only lists one window relay as the auto touch for the windows and the delay for the light. The light delay is working. Also when the ignition is first turned on the 4wheel and 4wheel low dash lights blink alternately several times. This is for a 1996 Explorer Limited. Any help would be much appreciated.

I would start checking the drivers side controls with a meter or test light. The drivers side is where the other windows get permission to work.

probably the motor is out but i am not too sure

its more likely the battery saver OR accessory delay relay.

I went out last night after posting and reading some more and wanted to find and pull the relay, but it was to dark and I couldn't see under the dash. So instead I drove it around the block to check if the 4 wheel drive system was ok. It was fine and shifted into 4wheel and 4wheel low with no issue, and the windows started working again?! Also the wife has said this has happend a couple of times before.

yep... that's the symptoms for those relays.
