Hello all!

So when I turn the key to ACC all windows in the car work perfectly. However, whenever crank the car - all windows immediately lose all power. As soon as I turn the car off, remove the keys, put them back in and to ACC - the windows all work again.

I have found a few people list this EXACT problem, but none of the threads I saw had any responses that fixed the issue.

I am aware a broken wire in the door could cause the windows to fail, but I am hesitant to go there because the issue only occurs once the car has been started. I feel like any sort of short or broken wire would effect the windows all the time, not just after it is cranked. All other electrical components in the car are working fine.

If anyone has encountered this and has an explanation, or can direct me to a thread that has addressed this, then the next round is on me. Thanks again for the time! Cheers

Here is a link to some good info from the '03 shop manuals. Hopefully it will help you out:

Good luck getting it sorted.

Power for the windows comes through the Accessory Delay Relay. However, this relay also provides the power to the Moon Roof and Audio System. So if both of those continue to work but the windows don't, then the problem is very isolated to just the window circuit. The main power to the master window control is the Light Blue/Black wire.

Thanks! It's currently raining ice here where I live so I will get into it when the weather clears. I'll let you know what I find!

Roger that. The link I posted has wiring diagrams and troubleshooting pinpoint tests.

Good luck!!!
