price for 91 4x4 xlt 5speed

Do you think $1800.00 is a fair price for a 91 xlt 4x4x 5speed.No noticable rust,runs good,tranny replaced about 2 years ago,the only thing I noticed wrong was that the clutch slave cylinder leaks.I paid about $4,000 for my 93,and dont want to remember what i paid for the 96 pos,but I thought this was extremely good buy.What do you think?

Sounds like a decent deal...we paid 6000 for my 93 a couple years ago hmm. Anyway I think it's a good deal, did you look up the kelly blue book value? The leaking slave cylinder while isn't extremely expensive to fix (~$80.00) you will have to drop the tranny to replace it. I usually also advise anyone to go ahead and change out all the clutch parts while they have it down (disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, slave cylinder, possible pilot bearing) But since the tranny is only 2 years old I don't know if it would be necessary, it does seem odd that the slave would leak only after 2 years though...i would make sure when they replaced the tranny they also replaced all the clutch components. Anyway, sounds like a deal!
