Today I finished up replacing my rocker arms, and afterwards I cranked the vehicle up and let it idle for awhile. Everything was running fine, the ticking that I was hoping to fix with new rockers was still happening, so it must be the lifters. But after I shut the Ex down, and came back out later in the day to drive it into town, when I started it up, I pushed the accelerator just a tad and let off, and the RPMs shot up to about 3k and stayed there for just a few seconds, then crept down to around 2100-2400 and would not drop below that:mad:. I have not had the chance to look at it again, which I am going to do tomorrow, but I just wanted to see what everyones thoughts are on this. It seems almost like the TB is staying open somewhat, but I am not sure how that could have happened.....

Sounds more like a bad TPS, you may have distrubed it enough when you unplugged it to finaaly make it give up. Check everything again but in the end I'll bet you'll find this problem.

Haha, I got it fixed! I had routed a wire loom wrong and it was catching the butterfly valve on my TB:D Thanks though!
