Problem: I think. . . My Window Didnt go up today. . .

So I was going to my garage to switch with my car, And When I got there , I went to roll up my Automatic Window and it didnt budge. . .So with my brilliant thinking, I gave the door a smack, And BAM! It worked. Anyone know what this could have been? And any things i should start to look at and fix?

same problem I had a few weeks ago. I took the door apart and gave a few light taps directly to the motor and it started working again. No problems since but I have already bought a replacement motor just incase. But we still need to know if there was any noise coming from the motor before you whacked it. Mine made a very faint humming noise. Also is there a clicking noise coming from the switch when you press up on it? your switch could be going out. But I would check the motor. I think mine cost around 60.00 US Good luck let me know if you need anything else.

I'm not positive that it made a noise, i think i remember a faint hum
The garage had pipe(Huge steel pipe) being loaded onto a flat bed
Couldn't hear a thing

And i will keep a listen and maybe do what you did lol
