Problem with Dome Light

I have Explorer 97 XL, When you close any door the Dome Light take 10 or 30 sec. to get off and other time when all door is close only pass a few sec the Dome Light come on.

Any body have a idea what turn on the Dome Light when the all door is close and the door has time close????

alot of dome light issue have to do with sticking latches /switch in the doors start there wd/40 or any penetratiing oil and once you confirmed thats it then try to use a gel lube spray cause the wd-40 will eventualy evaporate then it will stick again
