I have a 2000 ranger that was factory auto with a bad motor and tranny. I took a motor and standard tranny out of a 2000 mazda b3000 3.0 in both. I hooked everything up right even the plug that goes on the inside clutch cylinder. Now nothing happens when I turn the key on all the bells go off, but it won't crank and I don't hear the fuel pump click on.but the theift light blinks fast I think it the PATS but don't know what to do next do I have to tow it to a dealer or can I fix it at home?:rangerred:

Ideally you'd need the PATS module and keys from the donor truck. PATS is married to the computer. The dealer MIGHT be able to marry the PATS module to the new computer. Donor VIN would probably be handy to have.

I do believe it should endless crank though. You still have a starting circuit issue.
