Problem with the brake lights...

I hope I'm posting this in the right area...

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer SLX

Recently my rear brake lights do not come on, but the 3rd light does, i have looked at all my fuses and they are good, i have looked at the bulbs and they are good as well and the wires all look fine with out any corrosion, even just rotating the pressure switch attached to the brake pedal makes the 3rd come on...

Any one know what might be going on that the left and right brake lights are not coming on, the rear blinkers do not indicate as well but the front do?

If you have a tilt column, try moving it all the way UP. Common problem with the MFS connector binding and shorting out.

Thanks, Ill look into that, the thing is, my rear running lights do work and come on both sides, its just that they do not get bright, as well as rear turn signals, if that might make a difference in this problem...
