For the past week I have had to pump the gas to start my truck and give it more gas because the RPMs would start to go down and it would die otherwise. Today it won't start at all. My cousin thought that it was the starter and hit it (the starter) a few times while I tried to start it. The belts started turning and then stopped. I thought that it might be a fuel pump, filter, or injector problem. Any thoughts?

When you turn the key does it crank over and not start?. Or does it just go click? Check for spark. Check for fuel pressure at the rail. That will give us more to go on.
