Hi!
I am helping a friend to sort out some problems with his 89' Ranger SuperCab.
We have just change almost the entire rear suspension and major parts of the suspension mounts on the frame.
Now we have started the big task off solving some electrial malfunctions.
The 4x4 will not always engage when the button on the dash is pushed.
There are some sounds from the electrial motor on the transfer case so the thing isn't totally "dead".
Last winter he had the same problem but when he changed battery the problem was gone. Bad battery - lack of power to engage 4x4...
But now the battery is in quite good condition and the problem is back.
Can this be caused by a faulty button on the dash? Bad groudning?
Faulty control unit?
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards
