Has it clanked since you disconnected the front drive shaft?

no not at all but id like my awd back for mudding

any suggetions.. ?

put the front shaft back in or get it replaced.. You have a viscious cupling in the transfer case. Try to grease the slip joint in the rear shaft and also check the ujoints in the driveshaft.. That banging sound may be a ujoint falling apart

okk thanks ill put the drive shaft back in tomoorrow.. and see.. im afraid it might be the front rears bc it was leaking before
