Hi guys,
at first I have to thank you for helping with my last problem - but now I have another one:

I have changed a wheel and now is the TPMS warning light flashing and the display shows "Tire sensor fault". The new tire is a not a spare tire.
Yesterday it works without any problem, but this morning the warning light was flashing.
I have something like a transmitter found in the car and I think it could be used
for the TPMS. Is this right and if, how do I use it?

Please write slowly - I`m a German.

Kind regards from not so sunny Germany.

Helmut

PS: It`s a 2007 Explorer 4.0 XLT

When you changed the wheel did you change the TPMS sensor in the old wheel to the new wheel? If not, the alarm is probably because the truck is not getting a response from the sensor. If the sensor was swapped to the new wheel, it is possible that it was damaged and may need to be replaced. If a new TPMS sensor was added, the truck needs to be reprogrammed to recognize the new sensor.
