im in a waiting game also.....but different from yours......i have about 1100 to spend, dont really NEED wheels but would like them cause the tires would look betterwith them.....the problem is i am bidding on a scoop like 98FordX24's and so I have to wait and see if i win that auction before i really start spending anything
i dont know what you mean actually i will lift it up, just gotta find the parts cheap enough for me to do it....may even have to keep my stock wheels but i dont really want to......just a matter of finding everything i need cheap enough to make it happen....also looking at doing some other exterior "appearance" mods so those are an issue too
im not really sure what wheels im looking at.....something chrome.....if my truck was black or white i would get cheapo rock crawlers but they just wouldnt look right with my paint color
I actually really like your wheels. If I had any money to spend I would buy that kind. I just think those wheels look good with an aggressive tire. A lot better than the tear drops I have.
Originally posted by MO_GUY I am looking for a set of 33x12.5 XTerrains, does anyone know where else I can look other than 4wheelonline, 4wheelparts, and desertrat?
You could e-mail pro-comp and ask them for a list of local dealers.
But please read this first!
I have a set of 33X12.5 Xterrains. They work great in both mud and other terrain. The only problem with them is that they're a directional tread tire. DO NOT buy 5 of them. Get a non-directional spare. I bought 5 and kick myself for it now. If I damage a tire on the drivers side i'm fine. If I screw up one on the passenger side I have to run the rest of the trail with the spare running anti-rotational to the rest of the tires. DOH!!!!
I'll be switching to 35's next year and plan NOT to get Xterrains again.
