K guys, I Read the FAQ at the top, and still am a little unsure of these tires. by may calculations, they're a 32.8" x 12" tire, which seems a bit big....but the feller I'm looking to buy them off had them on his stock WJ (Cherokee)...can I get away with them on my 4x4 sport, (it has the bigger tire size option, 265 70 or somthing) with the TT and lift shackle? I'm just worried about my fenders/flares and bumper...not too concerned if they rub frame or anything.....

you'll be fine. People say you can run 33's with what you have so i wouldnt worry. BTW, the x-terrain is an amazing tire, you'll love it.

A 305/70/16 is gonna rub massively on just a TT/Shackle. You need to add a body lift or 4" suspension lift kit.

i have 265/75/16 and i had to trim some because it would rub while turning and i have a 2 inch lift. the 265/75/16 is almost a 32 and is 10.5 wide. I think u will rub a lot.

I don't like my Xterrains at all, orany ProComp tire for that matter. I can't wait until they wear out so I can get something else.

what is it u don't like about them? i made the mistake of buying the xterrains myself. that buy 3 get 1 free looked soo good  but i didn't wait till they wore down i just got rid of them... right away... did not like them offroad. if i was looking for a all terrain type tire i'd prolly go with the xterrains. yes i know they aren't technically "all terrains" but thats about where i label them. a really good all terrain type tire... jmho

man im suprised, i love my xterrains. They grab rock like nothing, and handel mud pretty well too, unless its sticky. Sorry about the first post, i read the 265 and thats what i thought you were running. Guess im not quite up to speed on the second gens yet.

They're loud on the street, they don't perform as well as BFG muds or GY MTRs IMO. Ive driven all three now, and htese suck comparitively.

The PC Muds arn't to bad. Had good luck with them so far. And they are better in the rain then the BFG M/T's

sloppy, not sticky mud is a friend (to a point) of the xterrain. I think it does pretty fair on wet roads, very good on ice, and kinda stinks braking. But on rock, its on par with some of the big dogs, iroks, krawlers, ect.

Yeah they don't do too well in sticky mud like the stuff Hoover got stuck in at Rubicon Lake at Paragon.

i love the road manners, along with sand and snow of my xterrains, not a huge fan of them in the mud though... i still havent decided if i will buy another set or not. this set still has PLENTY of life left
