Problem:
on the relay harness it has 2 striped/bare wires, one red and one black. I am not sure where these go or what they are for. I believe i am supossed to splice them someplace but i am not sure. Please help ASAP. I have this thing half installed and am stuck....

just buy looking at the ebay pic, i would guess those are for your halo's, and can go onto either a switch, or your park lights for power.

ok i will. Hey what do you guys think is the best way to open up the headlamps?

if you mean separate the lens from the housing, put them in the oven for about 5-10 mins, and check them between that time. it will heat the glue up inside allowing you to pry them apart. there is a thread here somewhere that one of the members did this with his 01 sport on here. try searching for it.

there is a guy named remren16 he has projectors on his 01 or 02 sport i believe he posted a link to it on the forum and he has hids on it

Hey guys just installed these lights today after waiting forever to get them shipped from CHINA haha
I actually got some new housings to do this with (just in case I wanted to return to stock)
So, I painted the new housings flat black on the inside.

it was pretty easy to get the headlights apart, all I did was put them in the oven for about a minute at 200 degrees, then gently pulled them apart using a flathead.
This is what it looked like once I got the projectors in:

Then on the truck:

Now with the halo's on: (they look better in person, the pictures kinda change the light output)

I'm pretty happy so far with them... I think the next step is a light smoke on the tails and markers.
Let me know what you guys think!

Should fit into anything 9007 as long as it's deep enough

how did you end up hooking up the halos

It was really easy, the harness that comes with the kit has two bare wires. One positive and one negative, I just connected those to the parking light, ( tan wire was positive, black was ground ) and that's it

i never hooked mine up to me they look to small now if they were a little bigger around then i might

what kind of bulb comes with it i have seen those but wondered if the bulbs were replaceable

they are rebased bulbs and i have only been able to find one place that will let me purchase new bulbs

how much were they I am leaning toward getting something like that but i have read that those are different type bulbs

I got quoted $29.41 and $28 for shipping

Fits right into stock hole for headlight. I did have to drill a hole for the wires that come from the halo, but it wasn't too big.
