Well, I just installed several TV's in my explorer and want to put a PS2 in the center consol so I got a new Slim PS2, it fits great. However how do I take off the top covers of the center consol to run the wires to the behind the headunit. Also where should I draw my power for my PS2 from?

I have a 96 Eddie /w/ nav unit.

Power inverter, or a 12 volt adapter if they make one for the PS2 (I know they do for the PS1, I used to have one in my Z24).

Sorry, can't help you with the center console, hopefully someone who knows will reply.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to take apart the center console or how to run the PS2 wires to behind the head unit?

You have the floor length console? The kleenex hole cover comes out first, then the cup holder insert thing. I'm not sure about the pockets in front of the cup holders, but it will probably be obvious when you take of cup holder. It's not hard to remove, as I took mine out and removed the flocking from that stupid pocket. I just don't remember how it came out. PLay around with it and you'll probably figure it out. If not post back and I'll tear mine part way out and snap a few pics.

Oh and Welcome to the Site :bounce:

I got it out today, 7" touch screen headunit installed, along with ipod adapter, and PS2, pictures soon.
