Pulled my plugs. How do they look? One is different than the others.

You have the extended version. They have a lot more room behind the rear seats (extra 15.4") compared to the regular version. My 93 is extended with the 4.0L. The cooler in the front is in series with the integrated cooler in the radiator. The TCC is controlled by the PCM. It's modulated, so it is partially engaged (intentional slippage in other words) until it has completely locked the torque converter. I once gave the suggestion for an Aerostar forum since there are forums for the BII, Navajo, Mountaineer, and Ranger, but the idea never took off.

When I start to removed old spark plug the first one broke in the cylinder head so I change this one and they other still there :( but right now my aero run great 10$ 130 km ... at 86.9 ltr... it's a 3.0L 96 ...But don't thnik about changing the others plugs .... I think it's the original spark plug .....220 000 km
but right now the truck is for sale in parts ... a lot of thing are brand new ... but my wife have little accident with the aero and she juste want to use the explorer right now....

update

I haven't been here in a while but I got an email notifying me that my thread was resurrected from the dead... so why not post an update.

I put new plugs in after pulling the dirty ones out (see pics on first page). I've since done 35,000 km's on the old girl and it now has over 255,000 km's on it (200k miles'ish).. and.. it runs fantastically! This thing has not leaked or lost a drop of fluid so I know the dirty plugs were not the result of some catastrophic oil problem. I think it was just that oil had somehow got down into the plug hole and dirtied it from the top.

I love the aero for the following reasons:
1) I don't stress about this vehicle
2) it owes me nothing and is very reliable
3) ridiculously practical, especially when you don't stress about putting "stuff" in it
4) there are zillions of them at the bone-yard

I might need to sell the car and buy another aero !
