Not sure but maybe one (or both) of the hubs probably isnt working properly and is engaging and disengaging.

Do you have the auto lockouts or the manual ones? Do you hear clicking when you're in 4by, or does everything sound fine? Is there any consistancy to which way it pulls? As in, it pulls right when accelerating or left when you hit a bump, etc?

i have warns! i havent even wheeled with them hard yet. but i do have a spare

Have you changed the gear ratio ever? I had the same problem, I changed out the gears and did not realize the ratio was diffrent from front to back.

Eric

could just be humps in the snow...or bodies:shifty_ey

yea i had the local 4x4 shop install 4.56 gears front and rear along with l/s front and rear..i had it in 4x4 the snow storm before this(2 weeks ago) and it didnt do this

Torque steer.

torque steer? my truck has to much torque? lol!

I'm going to guess its your limited slip engaging and causing the torque steer as mentioned by IamTodd Torque steer is when one of the front wheels pulls the vehicle more than the other... with an open diff power is sent to the wheel with the least traction, but with a LS both wheels will be getting power, but one more than the other..

so to solve this problem i...?

i understand what you guys are stayin

why didnt i notice it 2 weeks ago when my truck was in 4x4 for 2 days?

my guess is differing snow conditions - dry snow vs wet snow and/or ice.

you will only feel the ls kick in when one wheel spins so if one isnt losing traction then the other wont engage.

The way to fix it? Swap in an open carrier.

I'd agree with that..

95offroadx, when was your LS installed? maybe something failed inside causing erratic operation.

it was installed about 4 months ago

WTF! this really pisses me off, because i wanted a locker installed in the front, but the 4x4 shop said that i didnt want that and it would destroy my frontend, and told my dad it would be a terrible idea to install a front locker, and you know how it goes my dad nor the 4x4 shop arent gonna listen to a 18year old kid, when i spend most of my time on this site researching!
