Here is the problem: pulsing brakes. It is noticed especially when braking from high speeds or when braking when you are turning off the highway etc...Both front and rear rotors were turned about 2 months ago along with replacement pads. the pulsing started about a month and a half ago. Obviously the first thing I will check will be the rotors to make sure they have not warped. However my experience has taught me that usaully warped rotors get worst and this problem has pretty much stayed the same. I don't think it is the abs system as the light has not come on and I know what it feels like when the abs kicks in. For the sake of time and money I hope it is only the rotors that need replaced however I would like to get an idea of other things that could be wrong.
Thx for your ideas and help!

pull the bas fuse and see if it changes

how is the alignment?

Will try to pull the fuse to either identify or eliminate the abs as the problem. The front end was aligned about 3 months ago when the ball joints were replaced. Thanks again for your helpful ideas. Much appreciated!

my 2001 is doing that exact same thing! my partner said he thought he had new rotors but on...but im sure he did...it has 93k on it....can u feel it in the wheel too? mine is from high speed or getting of ramp...where is that abs fuse at?

You can usually tell a warped rotor by looking at it, look a dark patch on the rotor

Im pulling everything apart this weekend and will let everyone know what I find.

Well I'll be damned if it was not the front rotors being warped. When I turned the rotors and put new pads on a couple of months ago the spring bolt on the caliper was not tightened enough and it created enough play to wear the pads uneven and warp the rotor. Glad it was not part of the abs system. Now on to the next project...Replacing shocks. Thx for the help from everyone though.
