Ok, I've done a little searching around and it seem that the only way to convert a push button t-case to a manual one is to buy a new or used (manual) transfercase, and the linkages and levers and such. I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried to construct a sort of custom linkage to go on to a motor driven transfercase where the electric motor was. It seems like it could be possible because the cam is accessible when the motor is removed. Would there be problems with the electric 4x4 system if you left the motor off and the harnesses unplugged. I just think this would be a sweet thing to try. The more I think about it the more I want to do it. HAHA. Please, add comments, this is just an idea.
