Is this possible? Where can I get parts/kits for this? Has anyone else ever done this?

Do you have power locks? If you dont then you'd have to have them put in by someone or put them in yourself and that would be either expensive, a pain, or both. I had keyless entry installed on mine when I had an alarm put in (because it's part of the alarm) and my windows tinted.

i am actually looking at explorers right now. I am looking at one with power locks, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't have keyless entry. I was just wondering if there is somthing that you can buy to make it keyless.

you could probably take one off of a explorer that was junked or sumthin assuming it still worked and just cut and mod it 2 yours? I just thought of this...would it be possible to *add* another keyless entry to the passenger side?

I got aftermarket keyless entry including remote start for $250. you may want to look into that as well.

how hard was it to put that kit in? and did you have to do a lot of mods to get it in? also, what brand was that kit and where did you get it?

A local car audio shop sold and installed it. Maybe there are some audio shops down there that do it.

Yeah, just go to a local car audio shop. I got a good alarm and keyless entry at a local shop here for $250 installed. You may be able to find them cheaper on the internet but if the shops where you live are anything like the ones here, they'll charge a ****load for installation if you dont buy from them... Theres 3 car audio shops here...one wouldnt even install it if I didn't buy from them, and the other 2 charged $150-200 for installation if I didnt buy from them

I set up a Camry with one of their remote-start keyless entry systems. It's a lot of wiring -- be prepared to spend most of a day on your back -- but it's only about $70.

You do have to have electric locks to start. Otherwise I don't know how you'd do it.

i'm thinking of something different the keypad not the little thing u hang with your keys disregard my post
