I see mine was delivered today too. I'll check the box when I get home. If mine is not open, maybe I'll have a clue.

my box was alittle beat up as well and I don't see a piece like that in mine.

Looks like one of the washers. You should have gotten 4 washers per sway bar.

so was it supposed to come with the swaybars themselves or with the energy suspension kit?

With the bushing upgrade kit.

my Stabilizer Bar Links are all still screwed together and the washers are gold in color and...well they don't look like the picture.

This what the Energy Suspension kit (4.5152G Front) should look like.

i have everything in that pic john. so i guess this is a useless washer or whatever it is? it's a lot smaller than the gold washers with the kit. this would not even come close to sliding on the links for the energy kit.

oh yeah john, one more thing. it seems some people are asking about the collets. should these be installed even if the truck is at stock height? or are they not needed or will the bar slide without them?

Install the collets

I did not get those metal rod pieces with mine...
what in the heck are those for?

Alec is right, go ahead and install the split collets.

The bushing kit shown above is for the 95-97 models.

What about that miscellaneous washer? Just something that fell in the box or what? I'm curious since I ordered the same thing but have no washers, and as someone mentioned there should be 4 per sway bar.....

I got 4 washers per bar with my kit; I put on the rear bar but didn't use the washers; I assume the fit where the bar bolts to the axle housing but I did not see the need to put them in. Is there any need for the washers?

The washers come on the links like in the picture. It should be (4) washers per link, (8) washers total. Do the links that you received look like the picture? Forget about the washer that landed on Alphabet13's table!

what john is saying is that the washer i posted in the pic is nothing. it somehow got in my box for no reason and does not appl to the swaybars in any way. the other washers he's talking about i think are the gold ones that come with the energy kits in the pic he posted.

I got the front done this morning before the winds and rain started. SHWEET!!! If it lets up, I'll put on my rain suit and do the rear. The rear is where the SC's go right? Also, the stock front sway bar had some stops mounted just inside the bushings, I didn't transfer these over to the new bar, will that be a problem?

My stock front bar didn't have any lateral limiters.

Yes, the collets go on the rear, I had mine just inboard of each bushing on the axle.
