I have a 1993 X and I'm considering buying either a KKM or an ifab intake kit. I live in Arizona, and summertime is approaching. I'm concerned about the fact that the filter is so close to the engine and near a source of heat and the addition of summertime temperatures in the 110s. Are these kits safe for high temps?
