Ok, I recently bought a pair Headlights from my local ricer shop, They're from "Hiper Industries" I like them but they're not as bright as what I use to have and can anyone give me suggestions on where can I get bright Hiper white bulbs cause I really would like to glow up the night when I'm driving, especially with hazardous conditions. And also, what is the highest wattage headlight you can put for my 93 X? Thanks for helping out.

anything above the stock 45/65 watt rating is risking burning out the wiring. i would get a heavy duty wire harness and then you can throw some higher wattage bulbs in there and those should do the trick.

No high watt bulbs will also melt the housing

Is it for sure high watt bulbs will melt the housing?
I know they dont on a 96. Dont know for sure on other years.

Yes.. i knwo a few people on this board have melted there lights.. spas maybe? i dont rember who..

Has anyone actually damaged the headlight housing when using higher wattage bulbs and a HD harness?

Thanks

i fried my wires on my 99 explorer using 100/80 watt xenons. luckily i know someone who owns a shop and fixed it for cheap :)
